Your first case is free. Case charges are capped at $129 per home per month: once you reach $129, extra cases that month are free, and if a payment takes you over $129, we refund the difference within 1 business day.

What you get

One intake, three pieces, one approval.

Instead of typing the same names, dates and service details into separate tools, you fill one intake and get the obituary, program and tribute together. The obituary is drafted with AI and checked against what you entered.

  • Name and date check. Every name, date and place in the draft is checked against your intake before you see it. Mistakes in the intake itself can’t be caught this way, so please check your intake.
  • Director approves. Nothing goes to the family until you say so.
  • White-label. Your logo and colors on the program.
  • Target turnaround. Written pieces within 4 service hours and the tribute within 1 business day, counted from a complete intake.

Pay $19 for a case

Your first case is free: email matt@lumegrid.ai to start it, no checkout. After that, use this $19 button for each of your first six paid cases in a calendar month; for a 7th case we email you a $15 link, and cases after that are free. Billed in US dollars. If we can’t deliver a paid case, we refund what you paid for that case.

We count paid cases per funeral home per calendar month (Mountain Time) and tell you what's due before you pay. If a payment ever takes you over $129 in a month, we refund the difference within 1 business day. Use the $19 button for your first six paid cases in a month. For a 7th case, email matt@lumegrid.ai and we'll send a $15 link. From the 8th case on, just send the intake. If you use the $19 button by mistake after reaching the cap, we refund it in full (or the $4 difference on a 7th case) within 1 business day. Your free first case doesn't count toward the cap.

Process

How it works

  1. Complete intake. Full name; dates and places of birth and death; survivors and preceded-in-death lists with correct spellings; service date, time, place and officiant; tone notes; your logo or program template; and 20 to 60 photos and short video clips in the order you want them shown (photos JPG or PNG; up to 10 clips, MP4 or MOV, 200 MB each at most). We use up to 15 seconds of each clip, and the finished tribute runs 6 minutes at most. The clock starts when all of it is in.

  2. AI drafts the pack. The name and date check runs on every draft, then we build the program PDF and render the tribute.

  3. You approve. Then deliver to the family under your brand.

Service details

Hours, corrections and your data

When are you working?

Service hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM Mountain Time, except US federal holidays. Turnaround targets count only service hours.

What if something is wrong?

Corrections are free until you approve. After approval, we fix our own errors free if you tell us during service hours and at least 24 hours before the service. Changes to intake facts after approval are handled the same way when time allows.

How do I send intake, photos and clips?

Share a folder from your own Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive with matt@lumegrid.ai only, not as a public link. Turn off sharing once the case is delivered.

Who processes it?

Written pieces are drafted with Google’s Gemini API, billed as a paid service under Google’s Gemini API terms. Under those terms, Google doesn’t use paid-tier content to improve its products. Google does keep logs of prompts and responses for a limited time, only to detect and prevent abuse of its service and for required legal disclosures. Those logs can include text from your intake and the drafts. Photos and video clips aren’t sent to any AI model; they’re only used to build the program and tribute on our own systems.

Who can see it, and how long do you keep it?

Only the LumeGrid team working on your case. We never sell case details, photos or clips. We share them only with these services, and only to do your case: Google’s Gemini API, for intake text and drafts as described above (never photos or clips); the Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive account you shared the folder from; the cloud servers LumeGrid rents to run the work; and email, to deliver the finished files to you. Intake, photos, video clips, drafts and finished files are deleted from our systems 30 days after delivery, including working copies, and we don’t keep separate backups. Google’s prompt and response logs, described above, follow Google’s terms, not ours.

Are we allowed to send this?

By sending a case you confirm the family has authorized you to share these details, photos and clips with us, and that you have the right to use the photos, clips and any music you supply.

Questions

How does the $129 monthly cap work?

Your case charges are capped at $129 per home per calendar month. The first six paid cases are $19 each ($114), the seventh is $15, and every case after that in the same month is free. We keep the count for your home and tell you what's due before you pay: the $19 button covers cases 1–6, we email a $15 link for the 7th, and from the 8th on there's no checkout. If a payment takes you over $129, we refund the difference within 1 business day: $4 if the $19 button was used for a 7th case, the full $19 for an 8th case or later. There’s no subscription to cancel.

Is there music on the tribute?

Not by default. Photos play silently and clips keep their own sound. If you send a music file you have the rights to use, it plays throughout and dips under clip sound so voices stay clear. We don’t provide licensed music.

Can we charge families for the pack?

Yes, it’s white-label. If you sell it to families, check how it should appear on your General Price List under the FTC Funeral Rule.
